Apps we own end to end
We design, build, run and keep improving our own apps. No specification arrives from outside, so there is nobody to blame and nothing to hide behind — the details are ours to get right or to get wrong.
Independent software studio
We design, build and run our own mobile apps — end to end, in-house. Nothing here is made to a brief. It is made until it is right, for the people who keep it on their home screen.
A piece of software is never neutral. It either gives someone a small measure of calm, capability or delight — or it quietly takes a little of it away.
We treat that as an engineering requirement, not a nice-to-have. The load time, the empty state, the error message at the worst possible moment — that is where feeling actually lives, and it is all decisions someone made.
So we make them deliberately, and we answer to the people using the app — not to a deadline someone else set.
We design, build, run and keep improving our own apps. No specification arrives from outside, so there is nobody to blame and nothing to hide behind — the details are ours to get right or to get wrong.
Built for how people actually hold a device: one hand, poor signal, half a minute between two other things. Nothing here is a website in a wrapper.
Interaction, motion and craft applied exactly where they change how something feels — the moments of waiting, failing and finishing that most software leaves to chance.
An app is a living thing or it is a liability. What we release we keep — fixing, sharpening and occasionally removing, long after the interesting part of building it is over.
We set our own direction. That means slower growth and fewer excuses — the work is judged on whether it is good, not on whether it satisfied someone's brief.
No date has ever made an app better. We release when the thing is worth someone's attention, and not to fill a slot on a roadmap.
Every app we build is one we carry on our own phones. It is the fastest way to find the rough edge that a test suite will never catch.
Feeling cannot be specified in a document. We get something real into people's hands early, because that is the only honest way to find out whether it lands.
Questions, ideas, or a thought about something we have made — we read everything that arrives.
